White transposes into a Benoni and uses and opening finesse to take advantage of a questionable Black move order. Then White, misunderstanding the 'pointing rule' and unaware of Larry Kaufman's 'redundant knights' idea (http://www.danheisman.com/evaluation-of-material-imbalances.html ) allows Black to trade off an awkward knight and achieve equality.
