GM Grischuk equalizes out of the opening and then gets a winning position when his opponent makes two weak moves in a row. His excellent technique finishes off the game quickly after that point. The game is highlighted by a series of intermediate tactics, one after the other. Many were removal of the guard, causing the viewer who submitted the game to dub this 'The Immortal Removal-of-the-Guard Game'.
