Passive play by White allows Black to equalize. Then White makes an anti-positional move which gives Black the opportunity to make White's bishop bad. Black consistently pounds on this theme, trading pieces til he gets to a knight vs bad bishop endgame. One bad White move allows Black to lock White's pawns on the same color of the bishop and the rest of the game plays itself.
