The Russian Team Championship, recently concluded in Sochi, has seen the victory of the Siberia Team, led by the great Vladimir Kramnik, who showed an invidiable state of form. The high-quality tournament offered a bunch of interesting games, and Larry this week shows us some of the most amazing encounters. Our GM starts with three combos, where tactics pours over the board like rain during a storm. Then Larry analyzes for us a fantastic game, played between GM Motylev and GM Najer. Motylev starts the attack, only to find his Queen stranded in a relatively unuseful and inactive place, and to suffer a violent and decisive counter-attack. Another great episode of Larry's show!
